The MG Club of St. Louis is a Centre of The MG Car Club Ltd., affiliated with the MG Owner’s Club, a Chapter of the North American MGA Register, and a Chapter of the North American MGB Register. We are a Missouri registered Non Profit Organization (N00951742).
The purpose of the club is to provide MG owners and enthusiasts with social activities and technical support, in addition to promoting the MG marque. However, please note there is absolutely no requirement to own an MG to join the club (and some of our members don’t). Just a love, passion or interest in Little British Cars is all that’s needed. We have many members that don’t own MGs but enjoy our events so if you don’t have an MG be assured that you won’t be the only member without one.
The club holds regular monthly meetings on the second Monday of each month. These are usually held at a restaurant that has a private room for us to meet in. The social time usually starts at 6:30 PM and we gather and eat and have a beverage, or two. Then at 7:30 PM we start the official meeting. You can come early or just join us for the meeting, the choice is yours. Check the web site events calendar for the current month’s meeting location.
The Club hosts or participates in various events that take place throughout the year that many club members attend. Check our events section for details of other events, shows, meets and rallies that take place. There is always something happening!
Some highlights would be:
Christmakah Holiday Party, helps us deal with the January blues
Polar Bear Run, hosted by the Triumph club but a great run in the country and, assuming you have a convertible, the idea is to drive “topless”!
Fling in the Spring (FITS), a great back roads all day drive with plenty of breaks to a scenic destination at which an optional overnight stay planned.
All British Car and Cycle Show, this is our main fund raising event and we have between 100-130 cars at the show. A great day out & show at Creve Coeur Park.
Halloween Rally, the rally with a twist, drive in costume (if you like) and end up with a club BBQ. People are interested when we rally and they are really interested if you’re in costume as well!
Tech Sessions are held in January, February, March and April at various locations and are hosted by some of our professional repair and maintenance club members. These cover almost any mechanical, bodywork or engine related topic and topics are chosen/requested at the monthly meetings prior to each session.
