Nothing big to report right now.

There are a few other projects that require my attention, but all is not forgotten. There is plenty of time to get the site fully operational before the car show season begins. There have been a few thing changed since the last update.

Most of the new stuff are "behind the scenes" as it were. The tedious boring stuff like anti-spamming, SEO and general geeky things has been mostly taken care of. Once new things get added it will necessitate more geek-tweaking, but overall it's going well.

New Events

Like every year, I scour the interwebs looking for events to post. I have found a few but they have yet to go on the calendar. I'm gathering and some day soon I'll post them all in one fell swoop. Sadly, I've received none directly. I have been contacted by venues and organizers in other states, but nothing local yet. Remind everyone about sending me info.

The "Other" Video Project

I have alluded to this project before and even though there has been no new news it does not mean it is no longer happening. I am determined to make it happen. I am gathering resources and making more contacts. In order to succeed with what I have planned it will require a lot of coordination. All of it has to be done first otherwise there will be no time to prepare once it gets going. More info to come.

Looking for More Features

This is where you come in, dear reader. As always I am open to any and all suggestions. I'd like to think that since I have heard from very few in regards to site improvements I am resigned to believe that I am doing it perfectly. My ego is very happy with this. My rational brain however is screaming that there has to be someone somewhere that has an idea that I have missed in my "flawless" creation. Let me know. Whoa! It's Big!

I do know there will be some who may no approve of the width of the site. I partly agree. Many will say that it does not fit on their screen. This will not change. More people use widescreen monitors now. If I have to update and upgrade to fit within the 21st century's idea of normality then I don't want to be the only one. Get a new monitor. Your 1024x768 monitor is old. You need a new one. My partial agreement with this opinion is that the content is too spread out. This will change once more content is added. The images will be much larger and clearer. More item will be added to the columns on the right so this text will fit a lot better.
